Can't say I've heard of them, but apparently two of their head guys are from Play Along (made Armies of Middle Earth) an Toybiz (Awesome 6 inch line for LOTR)

Gleaning some info from their press release I could see them doing both AOME type scale and the "collector" scale figures.

Even though it doesn't say in the release, I wonder if it covers LOTR also like the Lego license. I personally loved AOME, it was great even though it started late in the game and wasn't allowed to make any larger figure/creature easily detachable from the base due to conflicts with Toybiz's license.

(as sighted in the article) and the site says they are a supplier not a manufacurer and that they are also consultants to manufacturuers (as seen here on thier services page: )

They also say they help get new brands to market.

Anyway sounds like they are more of a middle man than a toy company.

Makes me wonder if they are planning to change up thier role, but it's strange that a supplier/consltant would say they were making the toys for (potentally) such a big movie.

Anyway just kind of weird.

Edit, something interesting as linked from Bidge's news section to an article about the Hobbit Licence in Variety:

It actually says: "Retail partners will be shown the first line of products in the coming weeks."

That was fast. Probably a misquote, but interesting that the company links an article that says that.

I guess to word for NYC toy fair too? not even mock-ups
I'm guessing it's too soon. They probably want to keep details of the movie under wraps for awhile longer. I'm betting we'll see something at SDCC.

Looks like the 3.75 scale part of the line will have many options: Singles, two-packs, beast packs, collector packs, and Goblin Battle set. Who knows what the "collector pack" is or the deluxe collector 6" figure.

I agree - not so interested in 3 3/4 inch, but 6-inch figures all the way! :p They hopefully will go nicely with ToyBiz's previous LOTRs offerings.
Heretics. Hehe. I hate 5" and 6" scale. Stupid NECA et. al.

Very happy to hear there will be 6" stuff. Not a big fan of 4" lines anymore, obvious exceptions being SW and GI Joe. But that's only because there's no 6" option available for those lines.
I hear ya, only thing I collect in 3 3/4 is Star Wars (and maybe some Marvel from time to time). A big selling point for me is how will they match up in scale and quality when compared to the Toy Biz LOTR line. If they are close, it will be like a continuation of that line, rather than diving into something all new. I am much more likely to open the wallet if that is the case.

I only collect SW in 3.75" as well. Everything else I have is 6".

Also I can't believe they're doing a Tauriel figure, especially in the first wave. Articulation must not bee that good.
Sorry, not trying to be a jerk or anbything, but I am not following this train of logic. What does character selection have to do with articulation? Can you explain your reasoning here?
